Using only the finest British malt extract
With the Muntons Malt Extract range you can craft your own individual beer using their app. Choose by beer style, ABV, flavour, aroma to get to your ideal pint. With a range of different extracts these can be built into a bespoke recipe for you to brew with ease at home by simply scanning the QR code below.
The malting of Muntons high-quality barley is a time-honoured process. The grains are steeped in water and allowed to sprout over 5 days, before drying, allowing the natural sugars to be released and act as a food source for the beer yeast – delivering a delicious malty flavour.
How to use the malt
Create your beer: Use as a base to create a Lager or Pale Ale. Just add flavour and/or hop additions for a unique brew.
Enhance your beer: Add to all-grain or extract brews to boost volume, add body and mouthfeel whilst maintaining a balanced malt taste suited to citrus and fruit flavours.
