Winexpert Reserve Pinot Noir, Chile – 30 Bottle Wine Kit

What is it?

Winexpert Reserve Chilean Pinot Noir is a superior wine kit which requires no added sugar (all of the sugar content is contained within the grape juice).  Everything you need to make this wine is included in the kit except water. This wine can be drunk after 6 weeks but we highly recommend that you leave it to mature for around 3 months to experience the quality, it will keep improving with age up to 12 months.  This kit will make 5 gallons (22.5 litres) of wine which will produce around 30 bottles of delicious wine.

What is Chilean Pinot Noir?

Pinot Noir is the world’s most popular light-bodied red wine. It is loved for its red fruit, cherry and raspberry flavours, and flower and spice aromas that are accentuated by a long, smooth finish. Pinot Noir is light to medium-bodied, not too dry but certainly not sweet. This is why it is a favourite all over the world. Its silky tannins grip your palate and end with a velvety, smooth finish.

What equipment do you need?

Basic 5 gallon winemaking equipment, for example,  plastic fermenter or bucket, bung, airlock and sterilizer. You will find these under the starter kit section of this website.

Food Pairing

Chilean Pinot Noir pairs well with a wide range of foods. It is a great match with salmon or other fatty fish, roasted chicken or pasta dishes. It matches up nicely with delicately flavoured, washed rind cheeses and nutty medium-firm cheeses, Gruyere is a great example and Taleggio is not too intense.

Tips:

We recommend using a Vinbrite filter to clear the wine to a professional standard.
If you can leave it a few months to mature, the wine will greatly improve
